ABERDEEN, S.D. – Historian, author and humanities scholar Brad Tennant will present “When Local History Becomes American and World History” at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 10, in the Round Room of Williams Library on the campus of Northern State University.
The event, which is free and open to the public, is part of the Art Buntin Local History Speaker Series, honoring the late Dr. Arthur Buntin. A longtime NSU history professor, Buntin devoted much of his research to local history.
This marks the second time Northern has hosted the event. Tennant, a former Aberdeen resident and former history professor at Presentation College, has a distinguished record of historical research and preservation efforts. He will be introduced by Dr. Dave Grettler of the NSU history department.
