    Institutions earning the Military Friendly? School designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. More than 1,800 schools participated in the 2025-2026 survey with 830 earning special awards for going above the standard.

  • ABERDEEN, S.D. – The South Dakota High School Activities Association (SDHSAA) State Visual Arts Contest Gallery & Art Wars Competition will be held April 10-12 at the Aberdeen Recreation & Cultural Center.

  • ABERDEEN, S.D. – Historian, author and humanities scholar Brad Tennant will present “When Local History Becomes American and World History” at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 10, in the Round Room of Williams Library on the campus of Northern State University.

  • ABERDEEN, S.D.?– Zachary Daggett, a junior studying accounting at Northern State University and an ambassador for the School of Business, has secured a competitive summer internship with Delta Air Lines.

    Daggett will relocate to Atlanta, Georgia, from June through August to work at Delta’s corporate headquarters. There, he’ll assist with financial reporting, analysis and compliance tasks as part of the airline’s corporate accounting division.
